Pick a package online and choose a delivery day. We drop a stack of clean totes, lids, labels, and a tote dolly at your current home. You pack, move, and unpack at your own pace. On your pickup day we collect everything from your new home. Delivery and pickup are included inside the Des Moines metro.
How many totes do I need?
A studio fits in about 15 totes and a one-bedroom in 20. A two-bedroom home is about 40, a three-bedroom about 60, and a four-bedroom or larger about 80. If you have a full basement or a packed garage, add a pack of 10. Totes are the same size as a large moving box, so if you have ever counted boxes, count the same way.
What is included in every package?
Delivery to your current home, pickup from your new home, a 14 day rental, one 4-wheel tote dolly, lids, labels, and zip ties. Totes are washed and sanitized between every rental.
Where do you deliver?
Free delivery and pickup anywhere within 25 miles of our Polk City base: the whole Des Moines metro from Waukee to Altoona and down to Norwalk, plus Ames, Nevada, Boone, and Perry. From 25 to 40 miles, including Indianola, Winterset, Newton, and Story City, delivery is a flat $29 per order that covers both stops. Enter your ZIP on the booking page and it tells you right away.
How long can I keep the totes?
Every package includes 14 days. If you need longer, add extra weeks when you book or call us during your rental. Plenty of customers keep them an extra week while they settle in.
What if a tote breaks or goes missing?
Normal wear is expected and never charged. A broken or missing tote is $25 to replace, a cracked or missing lid is $10, and a lost tote dolly is $75. The tote protection plan covers accidental damage and loss, up to 10 totes plus every lid and the dolly, for a flat $15, or $25 for 50 totes and up, and we recommend it. It comes free with the 4+ bedroom package.
What if you are late?
If we miss your delivery window, your rental is extended a week at no charge. We text a tighter arrival time the morning of, so you will know before it happens, and the extra week goes on your pickup date without you asking. It is the one promise we make out loud, because a late stack of totes on moving day is the thing we would be most embarrassed about.
